The Milby Buffs (Houston, TX) basketball felled the host Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX), 58-46 in Monday's league test.

The Buffs (16-12) will now prepare for their test against Austin (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region III District 19 test with a 4-16 record. In their last test, Austin was beaten by Sharpstown (Houston, TX), 83-53, in a league test.

The Apollos now own a 13-12 record. They play next when they host Waltrip for a 5A Region III District 19 test on Friday, February 10. Sharpstown will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 47-42 league loss to Sterling (Houston, TX). The Rams record now stands at 10-12.
