Texas High School Basketball - Sharpstown fells Milby

January 6, 2023: Houston, TX 77012

Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), 67-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Sharpstown upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Apollos host Waltrip (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Waltrip won 71-39 in their recent league bout against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX)

Next up, the Buffs play the Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Milby will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 66-33 non-league loss to North Forest (Houston, TX).
