Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) and the host Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), saw Kankakee Valley's basketball squad knock off Hanover Central by a tally of 50-39.

With the victory, Kankakee Valley improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Kougars host Hobart (Hobart, IN) to play the Brickies in a Northwest Crossroads challenge on Friday, December 9. The Brickies come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Hobart won 71-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) in a Greater South Shore challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Hanover Central will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Ingots come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 42-33 league win over Whiting (Whiting, IN).
