Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) and the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), saw Andrean's basketball squad wallop Hanover Central by a tally of 65-44.

With the victory, Andrean improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Fighting 59ers host Hobart (Hobart, IN) to confront the Brickies in a Northwest Crossroads challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Brickies come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Hobart lost 53-52 in their recent league challenge against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a Greater South Shore challenge, on Friday, December 16. Hanover Central will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 45-15 non-league loss to South Central (Union Mills, IN).
