In Saturday's league outing, the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) basketball squad beat the host Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), by a count of 50-39.

The Fighting 59ers (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Kouts (Kouts, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies go into the non-league outing with a 12-4 record.

The Red Devils now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a Northwest Crossroads outing on Tuesday, January 10. Lowell will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 51-28 league win over Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.
