Iowa High School Basketball - North Mahaska knocks off Montezuma
December 6, 2024: New Sharon, IA 50207 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) and the visiting Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA), observed North Mahaska's basketball team overcome Montezuma by a margin of 58-46.
The Warhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Warriors come into the South Iowa Cedar challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, H-L-V dropped by Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 45-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves battle the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Montezuma will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA).
