The Halifax County Comets basketball squad (South Boston, VA), lost 52-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA)

With the victory, Chatham advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Monday, December 9. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 2-1. Tunstall won 58-28 in their recent non-league battle against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)

The Comets now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dan River for a non-league battle on Monday, December 9. Halifax County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-28 non-league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
