In Friday's non-league test, the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) basketball squad trounced the host Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), by a score of 55-29.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 7. Hanover Central will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 62-20 league loss to South Central (Union Mills, IN).

The Oilers (1-6) will now prepare for their test against River Forest (Hobart, IN). The Ingots come into the Greater South Shore test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, River Forest bounced Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN), 57-55, in a league test.
