Indiana High School Basketball - Morgan Township nips Hanover Central

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Morgan Township Cherokees basketball team scored a close 38-31 triumph over the Hanover Central Wildcats.

The Cherokees (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Bearcats go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Wheeler tipped Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN), 45-20, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrean for a Northwest Crossroads battle on Wednesday, December 18. Hanover Central will meet a Fighting 59ers squad coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 4-5.
