The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) and the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), observed Andrean's basketball team knock off Hanover Central by a score of 47-39.

The Fighting 59ers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Brickies go into the Northwest Crossroads bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Hobart fell by Crown Point (Crown Point, IN), 60-24, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Hanover Central falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Griffith (Griffith, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-5.
