Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN), 43-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hanover Central advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Munster (Munster, IN) to face the Mustangs in a Northwest Crossroads match on Tuesday, January 21. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 12-8. Munster won 45-27 in their recent league match against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)

The Panthers now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Griffith will face a Trojans squad coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Bowman Academy (Gary, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-8.
