The Paul Public Charter International Pirates (Washington, DC) basketball crushed the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC), 73-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Ron Brown (Washington, DC). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Ron Brown was trounced by Idea (Washington, DC), 64-47, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dunbar for a DCIAA test on Monday, December 12. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will encounter a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).
