Washington, DC High School Basketball - Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering topped by Banneker
January 27, 2023: Washington, DC 20001 The Banneker Bulldogs basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers to 54 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ron Brown for a DCSAA A contest on Monday, January 30. Banneker will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 54-37 league loss to Ballou (Washington, DC). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-16.
The Panthers (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins come into the DCIAA contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Bell was defeated by McKinley Tech (Washington, DC), 67-24, in a league contest.
