Washington, DC High School Basketball - Banneker overwhelms Woodson
January 20, 2023: Washington, DC 20001 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) and the visiting Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC), saw Banneker's basketball squad wallop Woodson by a tally of 49-23.
With the victory, Banneker improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bard (Washington, DC) to play the Falcons in a DCIAA challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Bard won 69-63 in their recent league challenge against Coolidge (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Warriors play the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Monday, January 23. Woodson will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 75-53 league loss to Eastern (Washington, DC).
