North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 48-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Surry upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, December 15. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Sauras play the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. South Stokes will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
