In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Ira Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 59-45 triumph over the Winters Blizzards.

The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Sands topped Forsan (Forsan, TX), 58-43, in a non-league contest.
