North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant crushes Gray Stone Day
December 9, 2022: Misenheimer, NC 28109 Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 76-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to play the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a 1A/2A Conference 35 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the bout with a record of 1-4. South Stanly lost 79-57 in their recent league bout against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
Next up, the Knights play the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 35 bout, on Monday, December 12. Gray Stone Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 77-32 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
