North Carolina High School Basketball - Gray Stone Day ripped by North Stanly
December 12, 2022: New London, NC 28127 The North Stanly Comets basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights to 24 in the Comets league triumph on Monday.
The Comets now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Stanly for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. North Stanly will battle a Colts team coming off a 65-57 non-league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-5.
The Knights (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.
