Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), saw North Stanly's basketball squad hold off South Stanly by a tally of 60-54.

With the victory, North Stanly improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-7.
