North Carolina High School Basketball - Robinson overwhelms South Stanly
February 3, 2023: Norwood, NC 28128 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) and the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), saw Robinson's basketball squad wallop South Stanly by a tally of 85-43.
With the victory, Robinson improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to confront the Cardinals in a 1A/2A Conference 35 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Union Academy won 63-47 in their recent league challenge against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
Next up, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls confront the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 35 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. South Stanly will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-19 record after their 92-16 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
