The Hemlock Huskies basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Millington Cardinals to 63 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nouvel Catholic Central for a Tri-Valley - West contest on Tuesday, December 13. Hemlock will battle a Panthers team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Genesee Christian (Burton, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dryden (Dryden, MI). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Dryden was nudged by Almont (Almont, MI), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
