The Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) basketball felled the visiting Tabiona Tigers (Tabiona, UT), 45-37 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Escalante (Escalante, UT). The Moquis go into the 1A Region 20 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Escalante went down by Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ), 41-35, in a non-league test.
