Virginia High School Basketball - Salem tops Blacksburg
December 9, 2022: Blacksburg, VA 24060 Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 61-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Patrick Henry won 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
Next up, the Bruins play the Hidden Valley Titans (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Blacksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
