Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX) and the visiting Walnut Springs Hornets (Walnut Springs, TX), saw Morgan's basketball squad hold off Walnut Springs by a tally of 43-39.

With the victory, Morgan improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lingleville (Lingleville, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Lingleville won 43-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Meridian (Meridian, TX)
