North Carolina High School Basketball - Berry nips West Charlotte

December 9, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28216

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Berry Cardinals basketball team scored a close 49-47 win over the West Charlotte Lions.

The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Ravens come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Rocky River edged Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 57-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City contest, on Tuesday, December 17. West Charlotte will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Mavericks come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
