February 1, 2024: Buxton, ND 58218 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) and the host Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND), saw Devils Lake's basketball squad wallop Hillsboro/Central Valley by a count of 81-40.
With the victory, Devils Lake upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND) to play the Indians in a A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Four Winds/Minnewaukan won 75-38 in their recent league challenge against Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND)
Next up, the H-CV Burros play the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians (Fort Totten, ND) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Hillsboro/Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 76-70 league win over Grafton (Grafton, ND).
