The Melrose Buffaloes basketball team (Melrose, NM), was toppled 63-52 in Thursday's league battle with the host Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM)

The Longhorns now possess a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cimarron for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Logan will confront a Rams team coming off a 70-59 league loss to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Rams record now stands at 14-3.
