The Logan Longhorns basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Melrose Buffaloes to 43 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magdalena for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 14. Logan will battle a Steers team coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Steers record now stands at 29-1.
