February 1, 2024: Warwick, RI 02886 In Thursday's league outing, the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI), by a count of 81-57.
The Rebels (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Lions go into the Division 2 outing with a 17-0 record. In their last outing, Lincoln smashed St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 82-37, in a league outing.
The Titans now hold a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Coventry for a Division 2 outing on Monday, February 5. Toll Gate will clash with a Oakers squad coming off a 70-60 non-league win over West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 10-7.

In a high scoring first quarter, South Kingstown overcame a slow start to take a 20-19 lead.
Second Quarter
South Kingstown's James Wilson scored 11 points and Toll Gate's Jack Colvin made four three-pointers, as the Rebels went into intermission with a 45-35 lead.
Third Quarter
Ian McIntyre had ten points in the third quarter as South Kingstown held the Titans to just three field goals to open up a 70-48 lead after three quarters.
