The Cypress Creek Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Memorial Mustangs to 41 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 27-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stratford for a 6A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Cypress Creek will battle a Spartans team coming off a 68-63 league loss to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 20-11.

The Mustangs (17-16) will now prepare for their contest against Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Raiders enter the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 2-19 record.
