The River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) basketball nipped the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), 36-31 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (21-2) will now prepare for their test against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Conemaugh Township got by Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA), 54-15, in a non-league test.
