The River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) basketball nipped the host United Lions (Armagh, PA), 52-47 in Saturday's league test.

The Panthers (19-2) will now prepare for their test against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record.

The Lions now own a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Berlin Brothersvalley for a non-league test on Monday, February 13.
