The Gray's Creek Bears edged the host Purnell Swett Rams basketball team by a tally of 55-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Terry Sanford for a Tri-County 6A/7A bout on Friday, February 13. Gray's Creek will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-44 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-6.
