Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro succumbs to St. Mary's

In Tuesday's league test, the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad defeated the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a tally of 38-30.

The Knights now possess a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Arcadia for a 4A Desert Sky bout on Thursday, February 12. St. Mary's will play a Titans team coming off a 55-33 league loss to Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 2-19.

With the loss, Saguaro falls to 6-20 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to play the Falcons in a 4A Desert Sky bout on Thursday, February 12. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 21-5. Cactus Shadows lost 54-30 in their recent league bout against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ)
