Arizona High School Basketball - Mesquite routs Saguaro

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Mesquite Wildcats basketball team scored a big 89-24 triumph over the Saguaro Sabercats.

The Wildcats (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights go into the 4A Desert Sky contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's smashed Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 62-61, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Sabercats confront the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky contest, on Friday, January 30. Saguaro will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 2-15 record after their 51-16 league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ).
