Louisiana High School Basketball - Loranger overwhelms Sumner
February 11, 2025: Loranger, LA 70446 The Loranger Wolves basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Sumner Cowboys to 53 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now have a 10-25 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Hannan for a 4A District 7 game on Friday, February 14. Loranger will confront a Hawks team coming off a 72-34 league win over Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 20-7.
With the loss, Sumner falls to 4-18 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Doyle (Livingston, LA) to confront the Tigers in a 3A District 8 game on Thursday, February 13. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 25-11. Doyle won 77-41 in their recent league game against Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA)
