The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) and the visiting Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA), observed Independence's basketball team overwhelm Sumner by a score of 69-44.

The Tigers (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Lumberjacks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last challenge, Bogalusa was routed by Livonia (Livonia, LA), 61-41, in a non-league challenge.
