The East Rutherford Cavaliers basketball squad (Forest City, NC), was outscored 62-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC)

With the victory, Polk County advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Brevard (Brevard, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 battle on Friday, February 14. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 7-15. Brevard lost 52-29 in their recent non-league battle against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)
