February 11, 2025: St. Marys, KS 66536 Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host St. Marys Bears (St. Marys, KS), 51-26 in a league match.
With the victory, Nemaha Central advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Thunder travel to Riley County (Riley, KS) to face the Falcons in a Big East match on Friday, February 14. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 13-3. Riley County won 22-20 in their recent non-league match against Wabaunsee (Alma, KS)
The Bears now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Lake for a Big East match on Thursday, February 13. St. Marys will face a Eagles squad coming off a 61-36 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 13-2.
