With the victory, Riley County advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Falcons host St. Marys (St. Marys, KS) to face the Bears in a Big East match on Tuesday, February 18. The Bears enter the match with a record of 9-8. St. Marys won 59-43 in their recent league match against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS)
The Thunder now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olpe for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Nemaha Central will face a Eagles squad coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
