Kansas High School Basketball - Nemaha Central overwhelms Sabetha
January 18, 2025: Sabetha, KS 66534 The Nemaha Central Thunder basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Sabetha Bluejays to 23 in the Thunder league triumph on Saturday.
The Thunder now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rossville for a Big East game on Friday, January 24. Nemaha Central will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-44 league win over Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Sabetha falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS) to confront the Cyclones in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Cyclones go into the game with a record of 3-4. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] won 35-22 in their recent league game against Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS)
