The Mullen Broncos basketball squad (Mullen, NE), was crushed 49-26 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE)

With the victory, Sandhills Valley advances its record to 13-5 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Perkins County (Grant, NE) to meet the Plainsmen in a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. The Plainsmen enter the battle with a record of 15-4. Perkins County won 75-37 in their recent non-league battle against Southwest (Bartley, NE)

The Broncos now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hay Springs for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 22. Mullen will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Garden County (Oshkosh, NE). The Hawks record now stands at 12-8.
