The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) and the host Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE), observed Riverside's basketball team overwhelm Nebraska Lutheran by a score of 80-42.

The Chargers (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Cougars come into the D1 District 6 challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Central Valley trounced Twin Loup (Sargent, NE), 52-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Archangels Catholic Defenders (Humphrey, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Nebraska Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Defenders come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Aquinas (David City, NE).
