The Bishop Hendricken Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 44 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Narragansett for a State Championship contest on Tuesday, February 15. Bishop Hendricken will meet a Mariners team coming off a 60-54 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Mariners record now stands at 9-9.

The Thunderbolts (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the State Championship contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, La Salle Academy ran past East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI), 58-51, in a league contest.
