The Westwood Patriots basketball team (Ishpeming, MI), was toppled 49-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI)

The Bulldogs now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Linden-Hubbell for a Copper Mountain battle on Thursday, February 16. Hancock will confront a Lakes team coming off a 57-45 league win over L'Anse (L'Anse, MI). The Lakes record now stands at 16-3.

The Patriots (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Emeralds come into the non-league battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Manistique beat Stephenson (Stephenson, MI), 36-32, in a non-league battle.
