The West Iron County Wykons basketball team (Iron River, MI), was nudged 59-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Westwood Patriots (Ishpeming, MI)

The Patriots now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gwinn for a Mid-Peninsula battle on Thursday, February 23. Westwood will confront a Modeltowners team coming off a 42-41 league loss to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI). The Modeltowners record now stands at 6-12.
