Michigan High School Basketball - South Lyon East nips Walled Lake Central
February 14, 2023: Walled Lake, MI 48390 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) and the host Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), saw South Lyon East's basketball squad hold off Walled Lake Central by a tally of 57-52.
With the victory, South Lyon East improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI) to play the Knights in a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, February 17. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Walled Lake Northern won 31-20 in their recent league challenge against Mott (Waterford, MI)
Next up, the Vikings play the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, February 17. Walled Lake Central will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Corsairs come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 31-20 league loss to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI).
