Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), 28-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Walled Lake Northern upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Lakeland (White Lake, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Lakeland won 43-34 in their recent league bout against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 27. Walled Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
