The McDonough Rams basketball squad (Pomfret, MD), was crushed 47-24 in Friday's league battle with the host Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD)

With the victory, Calvert advances its record to 7-12 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to meet the Chargers in a Southern Maryland battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 1-17. Lackey lost 59-35 in their recent league battle against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD)

The Rams now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friendly for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 20.
