New York High School Basketball - Unatego toppled by Sidney
February 14, 2025: Sidney, NY 13838 Sidney Team (Sidney, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY), 46-34 in a league match.
With the victory, Sidney upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Team travel to Oneonta (Oneonta, NY) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 7-10. Oneonta won 59-34 in their recent non-league match against Franklin Central (Franklin, NY)
The Spartans now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Academy for a Section 4 Midstate match on Wednesday, February 19. Unatego will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-29 league loss to Greene (Greene, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
